We investigated the fish-jellyfish association on 99 specimens of jellyfishes, collected from seven different sampling sites during summer 2015. The collected jellyfish were Rhizostoma pulmo (Macri, 1778) and the fish juveniles associated with these hosts were identified as Alepes djedaba (Forsskål, 1775). The carangid A. djedaba is closely associated with many species of large scyphozoan jellyfishes. This study provides basic information about the spatial distribution of this fish-jellyfish association, based on observations in the west part of the Sea of Marmara, Turkey.
